This was a magical evening in the most beautiful location Palm House in the middle of Sefton Park, Liverpool. I held a private concert organised by none other than my mum for a limited number of 80 paying guests that included a 3 course dinner. It was an intimate setting and I was completely overwhelmed by how many had travelled such long distances to come and hear me sing. From Australia, Japan, USA as well as different parts of Europe; quite incredible. Thankfully I was able to have a brief chat with everyone after the concert.
I sang a number of new songs as well as old and was accompanied by James, my insanely talented pianist as well as the equally fabulous Vicky on Cello and Lara on Violin. The glass domed and plant filled building created the perfect setting as the bright afternoon sun disappeared and changed to a warm star filled sky with gorgeous candle lit tables filling the room. From the many comments I have seen everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event and was a very memorable evening for me not least as I was able to duet with my sister Martha for a couple of songs. Hopefully we can do this again!
